About GPscheduler

GPscheduler is different to the other GP rota programs you will find. Most of them are an adaptation of generic rota programs, which are then applied to general practice. GPscheduler is the product of a collaboration between a practice and an IT company. The practice identified the need for a rota program and then Singular IT Ltd worked with the practice to create a program specifically for this purpose in general practices. Throughout development, the program was trialled and tested by administrators in a range of practices to produce a programme that practice staff will find easy to use. It has been designed to reflect the logical steps involved in producing a weekly rota to secure the needs of the practice and handle the varying work patterns of the doctors. Furthermore, the programme also accommodates the wide range of variation between practices, allowing for branch surgeries, outside interests, hospital sessions and alike. GPscheduler easily handles the rapidly changing face of general practice, developments such as super surgeries, extended hours of opening, additional services, and time out for GPwSI work. We are committed to continuing the developments of this programme to see it grow to match the expansion of primary care in the coming years.
